Facelift Photos - Case #5233

66 year old female who wished to undergo a facelift/necklift. She was unhappy with her loss of midfacial width, the blunting of her jawline and the muscle banding in her neck. Her facelift/necklift was performed under conscious sedation and local anesthesia with a SMAS plication in a vertical/posterior vector as well as platysmal muscle tightening laterally and beneath her chin to achieve maximal reshaping of her neck. Her post operative photographs were taken 6 weeks after her facelift/necklift and show volume restoration of her midface, smoothing and straightening of her jawline and a youthful, athletic neck contour with elimination of her platysmal muscle bands. She is very pleased with the results of her facelift/necklift.
