66 year old, 5 feet 5 inches, 125 lbs, who wishes to undergo a facelift to rejuvenate her facial and neck appearance. She had a long history of smoking so her facelift was planned as a mini-facelift with limited undermining of the skin and SMAS plication in a vertical direction. Her recovery after her facelift was uneventful and she has achieved an excellent improvement in her facial appearance, with a straighter jawline, increased midfacial width and improved, more youthful neck contour. Her post operative photos were taken 2 months after her facelift. She is very pleased with the result of her surgery.
