56 year old female who wished to have a facelift to rejuvenate her facial and neck appearance. She wished to improve and straighten her jawline, reduce the jowling and improve the contour of her neck. She underwent a facelift with SMAS plication in a vertical direction, neck liposuction to improve the contour and platysmal muscle suturing. The vertical vector of the SMAS and the tissue redraping helped to smooth her jawline, thin her neck and improve her facial balance from a bottom heavy appearance to a more youthful, vibrant appearance. Her post facelift photos were taken 6 weeks after her facelift.
